MINUTES OF THE WRAXALL & FAILAND PARISH COUNCIL MEETING HELD 20 JANUARY 2010 IN CROSS TREE CENTRE WRAXALL
Prior to the meeting 2 candidates were interviewed for a vacant position of Councillor. Whilst discussion was in progress, after the interviews` 1 , Cllr. Pitt said that he felt that he should resign as he could not put in the time that he considered the position deserved. The Clerk and Cllr. King both advised the meeting that the consequent vacancy would have to be advertised after receipt of Cllr. Pitts written resignation. However, the Chairman told the two candidates that the PC would like to take them both. This is not possible until the NSC notice has been on the N/Bs for 14 days and therefore neither candidate was appointed at the meeting. Due to the time scale there will have to be a formal vote at the March PC meeting or a further interview should anyone else put their name forward.

IN ATTENDANCE: Clerk.
